Welcome

Welcome to JerseyRose Ministries

My name is William Whitcraft. I am not worthy of the Gods’ love but He loves me anyway. I am a resident of Gloucester Township, New Jersey. My wife Theresa and I attend Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, New Jersey. Between us, we have five children, seven grand children and one on the way.

I started JerseyRose Ministries to help the Visually and Hearing impaired.  Why do I want to help? Why do we attend a church so far away? Well it is a long story and I would love to tell you about it.

But, before I get into all of the details. I want to invite you to browse the website and contact me personally, if you have any questions or comments about the website or ministry.

At this time, since the ministry is just getting started, many of the events and services that are offered are sponsored by our Church. As the ministry grows, you will notice that more things will be centered around the Gloucester Township area. If you enjoy this website or know of someone that could benefit from any of the services, please send them a link or give them my contact info. Also, we ask that you please continue to pray for our JerseyRose Ministries Needs List to be fulfilled. If you would like to help the ministry grow and are able to help in any way, please visit here first.

Most people that know me, know that I love to help people. If I cannot help you personally then I probably know the perfect someone that can. Obviously, if you have made it to this website, you know who I am talking about. So let’s get together and chat from time to time. The purpose of all of this is to help you get connected…

Ok, so on with the story …(Read More)

I believe our Lord spoke to me with an overwhelming feeling of inspiration and direction and He said that He wanted me to find those afflicted, who have hearing and visual impairment and lead them back to Him, utilizing the talents that He gave me in preparation for this ministry such as my medical background in ophthalmology, personal experiences with hearing loss, skills in computer programming, history in the entertainment industry and social work.

I have given my life to the Lord and will allow Christs’ love to flow out of me, to help facilitate the hearing and visually impaired so that they may continue or regain their faith and direction.

· Hearing and visually impaired people that are lost matter to God. He wants them found.

· Prayer is the primary work of the people of God. We will pray to make a difference.

· Everything we have belongs to God. We are only stewards.

· Knowing, Trusting and Obeying God’s Word is fundamental to all true success.

· Without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we can accomplish nothing.

We want to facilitate the hearing and visual impaired, so they may know God’s call and  follow him.
We want to help people and families of people with hearing and visual impairment connect, re-connect or continue to connect to God, to His people, and to His work, by helping to provide a forum, tools and a ministry that will enable them to grow and find their way back to the Lord.

Father God,

We thank You for allowing us to to use our skills that You have provided us with over the course of our lives.

We don’t know exactly what You have planned for us Lord, but thank You for putting us where You want us at this time.

We thank You for the direction that You have given us with this ministry.

We thank You for standing with us during the trials and tribulations that we have endured over the years.

We thank you for Your Love, God!

You are so great Jesus!

We ask that You continue to guide us with this ministry and give us the tools so that we may seek out Your lost and bring them back to You, to glorify You in every way.

We ask that You send other individuals that will be able to join, or participate with, our ministry.

We Love You Lord and we pray these things in Jesus’ name.

Amen

Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.

Jesus Heals a Deaf Man
And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly. And Jesus charged them to tell no one. But the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it.

Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.

Jesus Heals a Blind Beggar

As he drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. And hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what this meant. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” And he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And those who were in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

Bringing the Word of God to the Visual & Hearing Impaired

Serving our Country
Our Children are the Hope of the Future

We print and distribute the Bible in braille without charge to the blind and visually handicapped throughout the world who are otherwise unable to afford to read God’s Word.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

How does a blind person read?

A blind person reads with his hands. His fingers are able to feel different combinations of raised dots called braille. These different combinations of between one and six dots and in some languages combinations of between one and eight dots are used to make letters, numbers, words and word signs which are a form of braille shorthand…more

Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. 4Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children [258] of one’s youth. 5Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. [259]
